Song of the Day:
Ministry – “Every Day Is Halloween”
Happy Halloween everyone!
As you can see, the comic is in color. This is my very first attempt at it so don’t think that this is how the strip will look every week.
Let me know what you think, good or bad. Use the Comment section below!

I like it.
Thanks!
The color looks great, it adds a wonderful sense of depth and texture too. I love the black and white comics too.
Thank you!
There are certainly things I’d like to fix. I’m still working on my color palette. I did the whole thing in regular colors and then added a Gradient Adjustment layer to it. This is the one I picked around midnight last night. It was late and I needed to post something so I went with it. *shrug*
The color really adds to the atmosphere and gives it a greater sense of depth. I like it.
Also, holy crap I’m in a comic!
Good stuff, Robert.
Great! I’m glad you’re not going to sue me.
I wouldn’t sue. My lawyers looked into it, and since the spelling is slightly different, you can claim it’s someone else, so I would have a thin case. I mean… um… I wouldn’t dream of it, buddy!
Nice!
It looks beautiful, it almost brings a tear to my eye.
I can relate to those Jason’s. While my name is Nekro Thirteen (My self given name. I hate using my real one) I just go by Thirteen. To many Nekro’s around now a day’s.
Thirteen is an awesome name!
I like the color as well. You’ve done a really good job of using it as atmosphere.
And, I would be remiss if I did not congratulate you on your awesome job in capturing those three Jasons. although I am guessing that Rider being taller than Soles is due to perspective and standing on The Hill.
Thank you. It’s just the perspective of the table that makes him look taller.
In college we went with prefixes. I was Big John. There was Asian John, Little John, Fake Irish John (Feej), Gay John, Fu–ed Up John (Fudge). Then there were lots of Mikes. Philly Mike, Iron Mike, Regular Mike, Irregular Mike, and Bob Mike.
Funny thing was how they got those names. Asian John was bigger than me, but such a huge anime fan he walked around campus in a kimono. Little John was on the football team, so the ‘roids were causing shrinkage. Most of us were Irish Catholic, so we called him Fake Irish John since he was a Protestant whose family were really transplanted English aristocracy. Gay John was straight, but the happiest guy you’d ever meet. Fudge was one of those straight-edge guys, so he’d never drink or smoke, but came home beaten up from slamdancing most nights while preaching about the importance of taking care of your body.
Love the comic. How’s the legalization news being handled in your part of the world?
In college we had a bunch of guys named Mark on the floor. Big Mark, Little Mark, Red Mark… It was a fun time.
As for legalization, apparently there was a big party in the streets on erection night, er… election night. I didn’t go because I was busy coloring my comics. Hooray for equal marriage and legal pot.
Nice job on the colors! It’s always nice to see artists who appreciate a desaturated color pallet.
Thanks. I’m still experimenting but I know that I don’t want my strips to look like every other one out there.
