I almost never put on my clothes until my makeup’s done. prevent glitter or other crap from getting on my clothes, and I almost always do my hair last.
I put my makeup on and do my hair in a dressing gown for similar reasons to the above, I don’t dance but I do listen to music to get in the mood and sing stupidly loudly :p
Make up and possibly hair first, clothes after. Less dancing, more drinking. Shower-make up-hair-clothes-shoes-where the f is my bag and all the stuff I need-selfie-out the door. 🙂
I always do Makeup and Hair first, then comes the the part where I put on a fancy dress with impossible shoes. After having that outfit on, I always change to black hoodie, black pants, and all black Chucks. Every time, ha!
My process is slightly different but very similar:
1. Try on everything goth or dark in the house
2. Settle on outfit
3. Shower, sing/dance around, makeup, dance, hair, sing only otherwise I’d be risking burns
4. change mind on outfit three more times
5. Remember that perfect outfit in the other closet
6. Leave
Getting ready starts with a visual puzzle of black on black attire selection. Mind the blue-black and brown-black. Then, after the outfit is chosen, a forecast check is obligatory. I live in upstate NY. Layers of clothing later, I put on my boots and tighten my corset over my skirts.. followed by jackets or cloak, depending on how cold it is outside. Then I do my makeup. I cover my clothes with a towel to avoid dusting. I usually tie my hair back and wear a veil if it feels right.
Meanwhile, Steve gets ready by throwing on a t-shirt and pants. He doesn’t tie his shoes and he might brush his hair. I take about one or two hours to get ready. He takes five minutes. You can tell when we walk into the club. He doesn’t dance. He watches me.

I guess it depends on if you can put your clothes on without touching your face…

I bet your roommates and/or pets love your singing! 😀
It takes me 20 minutes at most (with shower) to get ready when I go to a party. 10 minutes on regular days
Wow! That’s pretty quick.
I take about 5 minutes to get dressed and get out the door, but yes, there is usually dancing
That’s lightning speed!
I listen to music getting ready, I spend alot more time on my hair then Doomie seems to lol
Yep. Some hair is trickier than others. 🙂

Ack! I forgot to add the drinking!

Sounds like you have your system down!
Lol, lol, lol, everything is right except dressing and hair are last, make up is first, with all the rest mixed in!!
Nice!

You’re right, that does sound like a puzzle!
